Jasc Software has released version 8 of its comprehensive and affordable image-editing tool. New features in version 8 include a customisable interface, automated actions and an enhanced background eraser tool.
Paint Shop Pro has long been recognised for its ease of use. Jasc has continued that approach in this release, with an integrated suite of learning tools making the package very beginner-friendly.
A customisable interface, 'Dynamic Personalisation', enables users to develop menus and layouts which bring their most commonly used features to the forefront of the package. This could mean some serious productivity savings for regular users.
Another workflow enhancement comes in the shape of 'Automated Productivity Scripts'. These Scripts enable users to record, edit and replay common commands. When used in conjunction with Paint Shop Pro's Dynamic Personalisation feature, this could make the application an efficient image-editing tool.
